At first, we handed those smaller tasks to developers who were already working on new website projects. The problem was obvious pretty quickly. It slowed down larger builds, interrupted momentum, and was not the best setup for clients or for our team.
So we fixed it.
We built a dedicated website maintenance department focused specifically on handling smaller requests, ongoing updates, and day-to-day website help. That change worked so well that it became a core part of what Webstix does.
Then we made the process easier for clients, too.
