We started in 2001, back when static HTML sites were the norm. Our first programmers were two guys who knew Perl and PHP, a designer, and Tony managing them and working on projects. We’ve greatly grown the team since then.
One, key addition early on, was our Maintenance Department. We found that taking developers off of projects to do small tasks didn’t work well for our clients or our team. We set up a team that just handled those smaller requests, and that was the perfect solution. We now have clients that use us as their “web team” and we’ve gotten tens of thousands of requests over the years. Those client enjoy our Maintenance Blocks system, which streamlines billing and makes handling new request seamless.
We moved into B2B websites early on as well, which is one specialty we have. We’ve made tools, portals, estimators, and specialized e-commerce systems for all types of businesses.
And we’ve also been the back-end for many agencies. They get the projects, send them to us, and deliver the work to their clients.
As we pass our 25th anniversary, we look forward to doing much more with automations, portals, integrations, and more – for all our clients, big and small.

A founding member, Tony helps bridge the gap between business goals, marketing strategy, content, and the technical side of the web.
With a background in web design (dating back to 1994), SEO, content strategy, and client communication, Tony focuses on making sure websites do not just get built, but actually help the business move forward. That includes everything from positioning and messaging to conversion-focused page structure, search visibility, content planning, and helping clients understand what matters most.
He is especially interested in the practical side of marketing: what makes people trust a business, what makes a website easier to use, what improves conversions, and what helps a company stand out online without wasting time or money.
Tony works closely with clients and the internal team to keep projects grounded in real business outcomes, not just features. His approach is simple: a website should look good, work well, rank well, and make life easier for the client.
Also a founding member, Lennart plays an important leadership role at Webstix and helps guide the company’s standards, direction, and long-term thinking.
Lennart believes that strong websites come from clear expectations, dependable processes, and a team that cares about getting the details right. His leadership has helped make Webstix the kind of company clients can count on for steady, professional work over the long run.
Joe has been one of the key people behind Webstix for years.
He spent years working in and leading our Maintenance Department before moving into a Project Manager role on our Projects Team.
Joe is one of our top problem solvers and a go-to resource for the rest of the team.
Ram joined Webstix in 2008 and plays a major role in solving complex technical challenges for our clients. With experience in technical architecture, API integrations, and AI-related tools, he brings both creative thinking and technical depth to every project.
He has completed Google’s Project Management course as well as training in AI prompt engineering, which complements the way he approaches systems, workflows, and problem-solving.
Ram is known for digging into difficult issues and finding smart, effective solutions. He enjoys the challenge of taking something complicated and making it work cleanly.
Outside of work, he enjoys writing, painting, and traveling.
